GTA 5 Cheat Codes: The Complete List

Grand Theft Auto V is packed with classic cheat codes you can type in anytime during single-player. They will not unlock trophies or achievements while active, and they can mess with story missions, so it is worth saving your game before you start experimenting.

How to enter cheats

On PC, just type the code on your keyboard while playing (no need to open a console). On PlayStation and Xbox, open the in-game phone and dial the matching number instead, since controllers do not have a keyboard.

Player cheats

• TURTLE — Slippery handling on every vehicle, as if it had just rained.
• SKYFALL — Drop your character from high in the sky with a parachute.
• POWERUP — Super jump.
• CATCHME — Run faster.
• GOTGILLS — Swim faster.
• HIGHEX — Explosive melee attacks.
• DEADEYE — Slow-motion aiming.
• LIQUOR — Drunk mode.

Weapons and wanted level

• TOOLUP — Give yourself every weapon.
• FUGITIVE — Raise your wanted level.
• LAWYERUP — Clear your wanted level instantly.

Vehicle cheats

Vehicle cheats spawn the car, bike or aircraft right in front of you.

• COMET — Spawns a Comet sports car.
• TRASHED — Spawns a Trashmaster garbage truck.
• BANDIT — Spawns a BMX.
• BUZZOFF — Spawns a Buzzard attack helicopter.

World cheats

• FLOATER — Moon gravity.

A quick tip before you start

Cheats disable trophies/achievements for that play session and can be undone by reloading a save, so use a dedicated save slot if you are mid-story and still want your progress to count later.
